ComPicMe is built and launched as the world’s first entertainment search engine, created especially for movies, TV shows, streaming pages, celebrities, trailers, reviews, images, videos, fashion coverage, awards, music, books, comics, and trusted public entertainment sources. ComPicMe is officially in beta testing, so the search engine is still being tested, tuned, and improved in public. During beta, some searches may be slower, some results may not be fully relevant yet, and some pages, images, or videos may still need improvement. User feedback will help shape ComPicMe into a faster, cleaner, and more useful entertainment search engine.
Privacy is still one of ComPicMe’s most important values. ComPicMe is designed to be useful without forcing users to sign in, create an account, or share personal details just to search.
Beta testing plan
We plan to test and improve ComPicMe for up to one year. If traffic, feedback, and stability improve faster, the beta period may be shortened, possibly around six months.
Your feedback matters
During beta, user feedback helps us find slow searches, irrelevant results, loading problems, broken images, missing videos, and sources that need better filtering.
Beta means ComPicMe is usable, but not finished. Some searches may be fast and accurate, while some may still be slow, incomplete, missing results, or not fully relevant. This is normal during testing because ComPicMe is still expanding sources, improving crawlers, tuning ranking, and cleaning image and video results.
Some searches may be slowBroad searches, new topics, image-heavy queries, and uncached video/image side cards may take longer while the system improves.
Some results may not be perfect yetComPicMe is still learning source quality, entertainment intent, entity matching, spelling variations, and better topic locking.
Some pages may be missingNot every entertainment website or page has been crawled yet. Some websites block crawling, change layouts, or require extra cleanup.
Images and videos are still being tunedImage cards, video cards, thumbnails, and cached side cards may improve over time as more searches are tested.
General search engines are built for everything. ComPicMe is built for entertainment discovery first. The goal is not to copy Google, IMDb, or a social feed. The goal is a focused search experience that helps users move from a query to useful entertainment sources quickly, with less noise and fewer privacy-heavy assumptions.
Focused on entertainment
Movies, shows, streaming, celebrities, music, fashion, awards, videos, images, reviews, books, comics, and related pop culture sources.
Source-first results
ComPicMe links back to public source pages, publishers, studios, platforms, and original websites so users can verify information directly.
Privacy-first direction
The product direction is to avoid unnecessary personal tracking, avoid selling user search data, and keep ads privacy-conscious if added later.
What makes it different
ComPicMe is being designed as a focused entertainment search layer, not as a giant general-purpose profile machine.
Less broad noise
Results are tuned for entertainment intent instead of trying to answer every type of web query.
Images and videos matter
Entertainment discovery often starts visually, so image and video search are core parts of ComPicMe.
Freshness with relevance
Fresh pages matter, but relevance comes first. The ranking goal is useful results, not filler.
No unnecessary login
ComPicMe is designed so users can search without creating an account for basic public search.
No personal profile goal
The direction is to avoid building sensitive personal profiles from entertainment searches.
Approximate analytics
Analytics should help improve speed, relevance, and reliability without storing more personal data than needed.
Tell us what failed
Send feedback when results are wrong, thin, slow, outdated, missing, or showing the wrong language/source type.
Tell us what worked
Good feedback also helps. If ComPicMe finds better entertainment results than expected, that helps guide ranking improvements.
Report bugs clearly
Include the search query, what you expected, what happened, and whether it was web search, image search, or video search.
ComPicMe compared with general search
Area
ComPicMe direction
What that means for users
Purpose
Entertainment-first search instead of everything-search.
Better focus for movies, TV, streaming, celebrities, videos, images, fashion, and pop culture queries.
Privacy
Privacy-conscious product choices and no goal to sell user search data.
Search should feel useful without feeling like every query is becoming a personal profile.
Beta testing
ComPicMe is improving through public testing and real user feedback.
Users may see speed, loading, relevance, image, and video issues during beta, and can report them to help improve the engine.
Sources
Public web sources, official pages, publishers, and entertainment-specific websites.
Users can open original source pages and judge the source directly.
What feedback should users send?
Search relevance
Tell us when a result does not match the query, when a different movie/show/person appears, or when old pages outrank better fresh pages.
Speed and loading
Tell us when a query takes too long, a page keeps loading, a card appears late, or a button does not work.
Image and video quality
Tell us when images are broken, thumbnails are wrong, video cards are missing, or source pages do not match the visual result.
Source and language issues
Tell us when non-English pages, blocked pages, unrelated sites, or low-quality pages appear where they should not.
ComPicMe is still growing. The crawler, search index, image index, video index, ranking systems, and privacy-first analytics direction will continue improving throughout beta testing.
ComPicMe is not Google and is not trying to replace every part of the web. It is being built as a focused entertainment search engine with a cleaner, privacy-conscious direction. During beta, some searches may be imperfect, and user feedback is part of how the engine improves.
